Overview of the Summer PE
Summer
Physical Education – Summer Physical
Education is an intense program that provides students with the opportunity to
earn one of the required PE credits by completing a nine-day course that meets
the requirements of the Physical Education curriculum and
standards. Students will be introduced to a variety of activities
and games that are in line with the Physical Education curriculum and
standards. In support of the curriculum, students will also attend a
variety of field trips which are included in the student fee for the
course. Students are required to wear appropriate PE attire to
complete their daily activities as well as participate daily in all
designated games and activities. Due to the compacted nature of this course,
students are not permitted to miss more than one day during this nine-day time
period. The absence must be an excused absence approved by the summer
school administrator.
