EAGLE HITTING ACADEMY
Learn Hitting the Eagle Way from Varsity Coach Jack Schone and
his coaching staff.
Available for players in Grades 2 to Grades 6
3 Sessions
Sundays – Feb 4th, Feb. 11th, and Feb 18th from
12:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Big Walnut High School Auxiliary Gym
$75 registration includes all 3 sessions
Space is limited: only 30 spots available
Only hitting will be taught at this camp.
"Hitting the Eagle Way"
The camp is designed to teach the basic approach and fundamental
skills of hitting. Athletes will learn drills and techniques they can use to
develop their swings, the mental side at the plate and the approach our players
take every at bat. The camp is conducted by the Big Walnut Eagle High School
coaches and assisted by current Eagle baseball players.
Session 1: Hitting the Eagle way: Hitting Mechanics and Approach
at the Plate
Session 2: Quality At-Bats: QABs Philosophy, QAB vs Batting
Average
Session 3: Situational Hitting: Hit & Run, Moving Runners,
Count by Count Approaches
Equipment needed: Baseball bat and helmet, tennis shoes (NO
CLEATS)
Campers to be dropped off and picked up by the high school weight room doors located by the high school tennis courts.
