This school year, to help broaden our learning of American History, Mrs. Rogers, the US history teacher at Green Oaks High School, will be taking a group of students to Washington DC. While in DC we will be able to see our history, rather than just hear about it in the classroom. We will be using World Strides, a student travel company with over 50 years’ experience. By using this travel company, they will take care of all the planning of the trip and details while there.

For many of our students, this will be the first time they have traveled outside of Louisiana. It will be their first time traveling by airplane. There will be a lot of firsts, but we are very excited! We plan on traveling during Spring Break- March 2020.

All funding for this will go directly to our students and the fees to cover their trip. (Airfare, hotel stay, and all meals) Any and all donations are appreciated. Thank you so much for investing in your student’s education.
