Ballet Folklorico Los Angelitos (BFLA), an internationally renowned performance group from Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico, presents a spectacular two-hour show of Mexican folkloric dances from regions throughout their area. Included is their interpretation of international dances from Columbia, Greece, Spain and Ireland.
Founded in 2007, BFLA was created as an element of incorporating expressive arts into the education, lives and confidence of the youth of Casa Hogar, a children's home in Manzanillo, Mexico. Through generous donations from the Westerville Sunrise Rotary and the Westerville community, BFLA dancers are experiencing everything Westerville has to offer and performing throughout the area. These performances are a fundraiser for the group.
Join us for a sneak peek on September 27 at the Mt. Carmel St. Ann's 4th Friday in Uptown Westerville. Stay for Hands Across Westerville where the dancers will stand with community members and Westerville City School students on State Street in support of diversity in our community.
