AHS Engineering and AP Physics IFLY Cincinnati Field Trip 2020
The bus will leave the school at 9:30am and the program will begin at 10:00am and end at 1:15pm. The day will be a lot of fun for all of the students and a great opportunity to continue to explore the opportunities available within the field of physics and engineering.
There will be demonstrations and discussions with STEM coordinators involved with the wind tunnel facility regarding wind tunnel uses, applications, and models of aerodynamics and air resistance.
Engineering classes will conduct an experiment measuring lift and drag coefficients of an airfoil and physics classes
will conduct and experiment dealing with objects falling in a fluid.
Students can participate in indoor skydiving at a significant 50% discount of $43 which includes a pizza lunch.
