AMS Practice ACT Test 2020 (Grades 7 and 8)

To enter colleges today students are required to take the College Boards – either the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT). This is an opportunity for you to take an actual ACT for practice and to find out where your strengths and weaknesses are! You will keep your test booklet and get an answer key when you leave the test site.

A few weeks after the testing, you should receive a complete analysis which will help you prepare for the ACT that will really count!  So, "take the REAL THING without the STING!"

What to do:

  • Bring your calculator; be sure your batteries are strong!
  • Bring two or three sharpened #2 pencils (not mechanical) with good, clean erasers.
  • Dress comfortably, preferably in layers since the room may be cooler or warmer than you might prefer.
  • Bring a light snack, as you will have a small break. Avoid pure sugar snacks. A sandwich, yogurt, granola bar, etc. (healthy foods with protein) will keep you from having a sugar high followed by a sugar low.

  • Arrange your own transportation. Rides should be back at the school by 11:45 a.m.

If you have any questions, call the AMS Main Office at (440) 934-3800. Thank you!
