Intro to Physical Education (Original Credit)
Grade Level: 9, 10, 11, 12
Course Credit: 0.25 credit
Description: Students will participate in a variety of individual, team and lifelong sports, as well as learn physical fitness activities. Students will engage in physical activities that promote skill enhancement, goal setting and lifelong enjoyment. Students will learn to work with others in authentic physical activity to achieve a common goal and learn cooperation and sportsmanship concepts. Some examples of physical fitness activities are tennis, flag football, volleyball, badminton and pickle ball. Note: This course meets half of the Physical Education requirement. Students may not repeat this course in the second session to meet the PE elective requirement.
