Join the Hilliard Arts Council and Talent Agent Christa Lindquist for a one week workshop on audition preparation!

In week long  audition workshop,  Christa will break down the audition process and help young actors connect to any material. She has combined all of the best tips and information from her personal experience in casting as well as acting/auditioning herself  to create an informative and versatile experience for each aspiring actor.  Christa is super excited to pass along her knowledge and make everyone feel as confident as possible when walking in to any audition!  

Learn how to audition effectively for plays, commercials and more.  The class will be a combination of group and individual instruction and will be taught over 5 days

Day 1: (Group) introduction to the audition process

Day 2 (Group) General audition info/tips that apply to any audition

Day 3 (Individual) Pick audition piece and go over in depth info for that style audition.  It can be play/musical/commercial/film.

Day 4 (Individual) Refine audition material

Day 5: Perform your audition for everyone else in the group plus family.

Details:

·       Two workshops will be offered, consisting of 5 45 minute sessions either the week of June 22  or the week of July 15

·       Participants will be grouped by age. Students in the 4th through 6th grade (rising) will meet at 10:00am and students in the 7th through 12th grade will begin at 11:00am

·       Experience Level: Intermediate to Advanced (some level of prior auditioning and being cast will be helpful)

·       Cost is $50 per participant

·       All lessons will be held via Zoom
