Description:
Level One is designed to be a balance of nontraditional physical activities and traditional team sports in a co-educational structure. Students will maintain fitness records and design a four-week fitness plan. One or more days students will be expected to arrange transportation to Thomas Worthington High School to use facilities for swimming, etc.
Evaluation will be based on meeting the minimum state required hours for participation, dressing appropriately, skill and fitness assessments, written tests and quizzes, and quality of participation. Two semesters (.5 credits) of physical education are required for graduation from a Worthington High School.
Please give special attention to the Summer School attendance policy before enrolling in Wellness 4 Life. Because of the activity-based nature of this course, each unexcused absence will result in a reduction of one letter grade.

Reminder: Do NOT enroll in summer school if your camp, athletic event, or vacation plans conflict with scheduled high school credit courses.
Students will not be notified of acceptance into a course but will be informed if a class is full or cancelled.
Room numbers and rosters will be posted on the front door on the first day of class.
Your child may qualify for free or reduced tuition if they currently qualify under the federal lunch program. A screen at the end will ask for a waiver and apply any applicable discounts if desired. Your student's ID number is located in the upper left corner of every screen in Infinite Campus (listed as "Student Number").
