Dear Future Sponsor,

At Booker T. Washington High School, we focus on providing students with the best education possible. It is our mission to make sure that the students attending this school have the tools and resources they need to be successful and to prepare them for future endeavors. Resources help create a rigorous learning environment. They encourage high expectations for success through student data-driven instruction and accommodate for individual differences and learning styles.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the generous support from you, or community. We are currently looking for community donors to help equip students with tools that will make this a successful and rewarding school year. In the past generous donors like yourself have been able to make donations towards freshman academy, student of the month breakfast, adopting a senior student, supporting specific grade level events, and parental engagement banquets. Below is a list of events that we are asking our donors to support for the upcoming academic year.

Adopt a Senior- $200

This donation will go towards purchasing graduation supplies for seniors who are having financial hardships.

Senior Graduation Picnic- $150

High school graduation is a huge milestone; this donation allows us to celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating seniors.

School Carnival- $100

BTW students have worked so hard on academics and state testing, now it is time to reward them with a little fun.

Freshman Academy- $100

The transition to high school can be very stressful. Let's eliminate some of this stress by providing students with an opportunity to become acclimated to our campus while receiving school supplies, uniforms, and other resources they may need to be successful. There are several events planned for the Freshman Academy to assist them with finding their place in "The Lion's Den."
