This summer, Coach Dewese will host a summer camp for OHS Girls XC team members. Athletes will enjoy three days (two nights) of distance training and team bonding at the beautiful Pleasant Hill Outdoor Camp in Perrysville, Ohio. Parent chaperones will also be in attendance.

On Friday, August 5 campers will leave from OHS in the morning and travel by car to Pleasant Hill. Campers will return on Sunday, August 7 around noon. 

At camp, runners will:

- train by running several miles per day

- learn how to monitor their nutrition and hydration

- be inspired to reach their potential

- learn about team running and the team aspects of XC

- enjoy 5 meals together

- participate in fun, team-building exercises

In the true spirit of summer camp, we will gather around the campfire for s'mores and more bonding on our last night together. This camp is an opportunity to come together with teammates and also serves as a springboard for a successful fall cross country season.

Your cost to attend camp is only $50. Pleasant Hill charges $80 per camper however, the Olentangy Girls Cross Country Boosters (OGCCB) will be supporting Coach Dewese and the athletes by contributing $30 to the cost of each athlete's camp fee.

Registration deadline for camp is May 20, 2016 (the last day of school). However, payments can be made as late as July 15, 2016. Payments can be made in two ways. Please note Coach Dewese is prohibited from handling money. Therefore, payment by credit can be made on this site. Payments by check can be mailed to the OGCCB Treasurer, Tony Nicol at 1687 Adlington Drive, Galena, Ohio 43021. Checks will be made out to OAB-Girls Cross Country Team.

By using Local Level Events to pay by credit, a fee of $2.75 per registration will be added to the $50.00 total.
