Ultimate Frisbee

With members of the MHS Ultimate club!

Ultimate Frisbee provides the opportunity for casual play and friendly competition! Join our 4 week class that will provide fast pace fun for students at Mason Intermediate!

Students can come prepared for class by wearing gym shoes!

Enrollment is available to 5th and 6th grade students!

Computer Science!

With MHS Computer Science NHS members!

Computer Science is a field that is rapidly developing and the necessity for programmers has significantly grown throughout the past decade. In this course we will dive deep into a basic form, but necessary, form of coding known as block coding with the application Scratch. Throughout the four weeks, students will develop a deep understanding of block coding and programming statements that will not be used in many other languages in demand. With numerous opportunities for jobs in the future, will you decide to embark on this lifelong journey of programming?

Chess Class!

Hello Chess Enthusiasts! My name is Nikil Prabhakar and I am a Junior on the Mason High School Chess Team. I am holding a 4-week after-school chess program for students at Mason Intermediate. During this class, you can expect to expand your knowledge of the game, as well as help enhance your strategy and skill. I recommended that students enroll that already know how to play the game.

Model UN: Global Issues & Leadership!

With MHS Model UN team members!

Global Issues & Leadership Enrichment shines a light on the global issues our world faces and allows students to dive deep and develop creative solutions to these dilemmas. While tackling these issues students will develop a plethora of skills such as: making compelling speeches, an aptitude for debate, a strong command of creative writing, and deep insight into critical thinking just to name a few! With these skills under their belt, a new generation of leaders will be set to make the world a better place. So, how will you change the world?

STEM Discoveries!

with members of the MHS Science National Honor Society

STEM is a field that has procured rapid development and the variety of fields within STEM has exponentially grown over the past decades. The STEM Discoveries enrichment course will educate students on these various fields and explain how each science learned has an impact on the real world. Throughout these four weeks, students will produce small-scale experiments with large-scale meanings and develop knowledge that they would not find in your average classroom. Now the question is, will you take the first step and discover your true passion?
