The North Ridgeville High School Drama Club is bringing a cast of familiar characters to stage for its Spring musical production, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, a musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts.
The cast features members of the H.S. Drama Club as well as students from the Middle School. Participating in the production offers an educational and enriching experience, regardless of the student's focus of study. It gives students interested in theatre as a vocation and music students the opportunity to be onstage, and that's the best possible education we can give them - the chance to put to use all the things they are learning. Students who might not get a chance to do something inherently creative or performative in class get an opportunity to flex that creative muscle and become an even better, more well-rounded student.
Our cast includes: Bri Koenig as Lucy, Max Saxon-Housum as Charlie Brown, Jackson Gift as Schroeder, V Moore as Snoopy, Rose Saxon-Housum as Sally, Jackie Scialabba as Linus and an ensemble include: Jaylee Marchant as Violet, Janeen Khalil as Peppermint Patty, Natalie Sclimenti as Patty Ann, Ronnie Scialabba as Frieda, Chrissy Smith as Pig Pen, Isabella Dehollander as Shermy and Susan Nichols as Peggy Jean.
All of the performances in the show's two-weekend run are open to the public. The show is kid-appropriate without being categorized as a kid show.
