All classes will be held at your child’s school directly at the end of the school day ending at 5:00 p.m. unless noted below.
No class will be held when school is not in session.

Fantastic Fleece with Madison VanErp, MHS Student
Do you like crafts? Do you like helping the community? In Fantastic Fleece we will make fleece blankets to donate to Project Linus. We will also make a small craft at the end to take home!
Running with Renee Eves, Parent
Learn the proper way to warm up, stretch and hydrate for an everyday run or race! This class will go over dynamic stretching, which coordinates muscles, ligaments and joints, preparing them for your run. Learn proper posture and static stretching to help eliminate fatigue and muscle soreness.
Young Rembrandts Drawing with YR Staff Members
Inspire your child’s love of the art with Young Rembrandts. We teach drawing, the fundamental skill of all visual arts. Our unique, proven method and step-by-step curriculum are designed for beginning to intermediate artists. Our classes are fun and engaging!
Gym Skills with Gym Skills Employees
Improve fitness skills such as balance, strength, flexibility and coordination. Develop learning and social skills while building self-confidence. Gym Skills is a member of USA Gymnastics and coaches are CPR and first aid certified.
Hula Hoop with Morgan Junkerman of Spin Happy Hoop Dance
Students will be introduced to hula hoop dance! Classes provide a variety of tricks; games and exercises intended to develop balance, hand eye coordination, core strength and cardiovascular endurance.
Crafts with Shefali Bajoria Mason Resident/Parent
This arts and craft club will bring out your child's inner creativity, by having them do projects involving, painting, drawing and making various types of crafts, including photo frames, canvas paintings, and various occasion gifts.

Dodgeball with Monique Mattingley & Family, Mason Residents
Join the WR fun playing various Dodgeball games each week. All boys and girls are invited to this very active new program!
Acting is Believing! with Susan Monts-Bologna, Profession Actor
Fun beginning acting class (though advanced students can easily be accommodated!). Each week will involve opening ritual with warm up; ensemble and trust building games that will gradually include sensory awareness, voice and character development through improvisation and movement!
Fencing with Ryan Howell, Professional Fencing Instructor
Come experience the excitement of learning the art and sport of fencing! Students suit up in protective fencing gear while they participate in footwork blade work, free fencing, games and occasional team and individual competitions. Sessions also include the “game day foam sword battle party!”
French with Kari Glemaker, Mason Resident
This class is designed to introduce children to the very basics of the spoken language, culture and even food. We could be using products that could cause allergic reactions such as milk, wheat, eggs, etc. For more details please contact Kim Dunnigan.
Fashion Drawing with Anne Vanderheyden, Parent
We will be exploring how to sketch and design your own clothing and accessories. We will use stencils as well as work on freehand sketching. We will also be working on various design crafts to put your practice into real work!

Hand Sewing with Pilvi Ketola Mason Resident/Parent
Welcome to the fun hand sewing class where you will be learning an art that will be used forever! We will be learning different types of stitches using a variety of fabrics such as felt, waffle fabric and fleece. A variety of projects will be completed each week which could include pin cushions, purses, placemats, hats and so much more!

Bricks 4 Kidz sponsored by Bricks 4 Kids of North Cincinnati
This is a hands-on class where students build machines, buildings, vehicles and other structures out of Lego components including bricks, gears, axles and motors. Each week, we will learn about a STEM concept and then build a model illustrating that concept. Custom mini-figure included. This session’s theme is Amazing Animals! Celebrate the wonders of the animal kingdom with a different motorized animal model each week. Students will discuss fascinating facts about the animals as we build!
Science is Fun! with Sue Mishra, Parent
We will be experimenting with photo-sensitive sciences! We will cover the variety and versatility of polymers, what they are and how they work – and make our very own take-home glowing goo! After learning about how things glow, we will create our own glowing bouncy balls and take it back to the 90’s and make a neon lava lamp! To finish off this session we will take something we drink everyday water, and turn it into a goopy gush for everyone to play with!
Fun with Vintage with Carrie Murphy, Local Crafter
Maps and books; buttons and tags; bits and bobs. Crafting with vintage is a bit like cooking. A smidge of this and a tad of that! Inspiration is all around and we will use parts of old tings in our creations. Banners from map sections, key rings from laminate samples and vintage woodblock letters. We will turn old game boards re-imagined as memo boards and so much more!
Girl’s Craft Camp with Amy Weis, MHS student
Create amazing crafts with all sorts of art mediums. New crafts and fun themes will be used each week. Students will be taking their master pieces home with them each week.
Kiln Fired Clay Whistles with Norma Seto, YMCA Instructor
Make several clay whistles, depending upon the ability of the child and how complex the children want to make their whistles. Whistles are molded from white clay pieces into various animal forms. Children will choice the animal they like best! Items will be glazed and/or colored then kiln fired for years of display and enjoyment!
Wednesday: 11/2 – 12/14/16
Hip Hop/Jazz Dance with Webby Dance Company (Special times will be 3:45 – 4:30)
Webby will be offering an action-packed, exhilarating Hip Hop/Jazz program. Instructors will introduce your child to beginning hip hop, jazz, rhythm/movement, choreography and dance combinations in a studio-style setting. Learn pivot turns, jazz squares, barrel turns, hitch kicks and more. Dancers are welcome to join in the June 3rd annual dance recital. Session 1 and Session II are welcome to all dancers. Sessions III and IV will be open to only students participating in the recital. Inform will be sent home during the second session of enrichment.

Karate ASEP Fund Raiser with Melanie Gregory of West Chester Martial Arts
This year we will be focusing on dealing with bullies in a positive way, creating better study habits at home and the children will learn new self-defense moves! We will have karate drills/games that will enhance their coordination skills and eye/hand skills! A graduation ceremony will be held at our studio in Union Center, details will be sent home with students. All funds collected for this program are donated to the ASEP department.
Jump Rope with Allison Bills & Comet Skippers Members
Join the fun and healthy sport of jump rope! Learn the basics of the sport both as individuals and as groups. No experience is necessary. Make sure you wear your gym shoes the day of the class.
Lego’s Free Build with Stephanie Meyer, MCS Employee
Children will be able to experiment and build at their own pace as a group or as an individual. Ms. Meyer will be having her high school son, Joshua, assisting this session. Joshua will have a lot of fun ideas and guidance for your children! Students will be given a “take home package” at the end of the session.
