Byrd High School and Caddo Middle Magnet Choir are going to see "Wicked" in New Orleans, LA on their national Broadway tour on November 30, 2023. The total cost is $200.00. This includes the charter bus, 2 meals, snack, tickets, etc. There are only 52 spots and it is first come, first serve!

Requirements to attend:

1. Choir fee/school fees must be paid
2. You must have a C or higher in choir
3. You cannot have an F in any other class. 
4. You cannot have a referral on record for 2023-2024 school year.

Refunds are not guaranteed for any reason! If behavior during class becomes a concern, a student may be removed from the trip at any time. Only students who were given the access code may register for this event.

Wicked is rated for children 8 years and above, but please feel free to check parent guides before giving permission.

Itinerary

Thursday, November 30, 2023

• 5:00am - Meet at the carpool line at Caddo Middle Magnet
• 5:30am - Leave for New Orleans, LA
• 10:45am - 11:15am - Eat lunch at Cane's in Kenner, LA
• 11:45am - 1:00pm - Arrive at the theater - Purchase souvenirs, use the restroom, etc.
• 1:00 - 4:00pm - Watch Wicked
• 4:00pm - Depart New Orleans and head to dinner
• 6:00pm - 6:45pm - Dinner at Pot and Paddle in Port Allen, LA
• 10:30pm (tentative) - Arrive back at Caddo Middle Magnet

High school and middle school students will ride the same bus but will be separated by a row of chaperones.

If parents want to attend, you must provide your own transportation. Here is the link for you to purchase tickets. We will be in the balcony.
