Olentangy Braves Baseball Coach Ryan Lucas is proud to invite Carlos
Baerga back for the 2nd Braves / Baerga Camp
at Braves Fields on June 5-7, 2017.
Carlos
Baerga was a 3
time all-star while
playing with
the
Cleveland Indians in the early 90's & is
still one of
the few major league players to
hit a home run from each side
of the plate in the same
inning. More importantly, Carlos
has continued his baseball career as
a coach and mentor
currently within
the Indians organization. His passion &
love for baseball continues
to this day & he wants
to bring a world class
camp
experience to the youth
of Central Ohio.
The camp
agenda is complete with drills & activities from
the current OCC Champ Braves Baseball program &
Carlos' MLB experience as
an
Indian player and
now a
coach within their organization.

Baseball Complex (OHS Auditorium will be used for
Carlos’ talk)
Who: Players
currently in
their 8U - 14U seasons are eligible for this camp.
Cost: $100.00
per
camper NO REFUNDS!
All campers will receive a drawstring backpack with local merchant coupons, signed Carlos Baerga baseball and camp shirt. Each day giveaways to Camper of the Day, Hustle, and Carlos choice will be handed out. There will also be photo opportunities with Carlos and his staff.
Registration Deadline = This camp will be limited to the first 175 campers & will
include a full agenda
of baseball skills, games and baseball taught
by OHS coaches, players &
Carlos Baerga
himself. Please register in advance as we
are only able to
take the first 175 campers to ensure a great camp experience.
Check In Procedure: Campers
can
begin
checking in
on June 5th at 8:15am. Check
in will end promptly at 9:15am.
WHAT TO BRING:
Campers
should wear clothing appropriate for on-field
activities: baseball pants, t-shirts, shorts, glove, cleats,
tennis shoes, hat,
batting helmet, protective cup. It would be helpful
for campers
to bring their own bat and catchers
gear for the catchers. Please do not bring any baseballs and
make sure you write your name
on all personal
equipment.
Concessions will be on premise during the camp
and some other contests and giveaways
will take place during each
day of the
camp.
Camp Status
We will use our program Twitter and Facebook accounts @ohsteambaseball to update the status of camp in case of a cancellation or delay due to weather. You may also follow @baerga9 on Twitter for updates as camp gets nearer.
