Resident Educator Mentor Training takes place over two days. The first day focuses on Mentors as Learners and the
knowledge and skills mentors must know to be able to effectively mentor
Resident Educators. The second day focuses on Mentors as
Decision Makers and how to apply the knowledge and skills learned in day
one to design, practice and implement tailored mentoring support to
accelerate Resident Educator teaching practices. Day 1 is a prerequisite for Day 2. Both days must be completed in order to become a certified mentor.
Each full-day workshop is $85 per participant. Lunch is provided; contact event coordinator for special needs. Registration is 8:00-8:30 a.m.; training is 8:30-3:30 p.m. Fees include lunch and instructional materials. Registration is not complete until fees are paid. Registration fees are non-refundable after the cancellation date. No shows will be billed a cancellation fee.
Dates:
Participants must pay for each session individually.
While most participants register for back to back
training days, it is acceptable to register for days that are not
consecutive as long as Day 1 is completed before Day 2.
