Join Caddo Magnet Players for our production of the Greek tragedy, The Trojan Women. This tale of love, loss, and the cost of war is set outside the devasted walls of a modernized Troy after ten years of ware. The Trojan women are forced to examine their loss, face the fate prescribed them by their Greek captors, and find the strength to continue. Originally presented in 415 BCE, The Trojan Women continues to examine the human cost of war through the ages.
This production is rated PG-13. This performance includes depictions of violence, discussion and depiction of the loss of children, and will be a semi-immersive experience. There will be prop weapons present, but they are not discharged/no gunshot sound effects.
