Meet Me in St. Louis is a nostalgic epoch based on the 1944 film starring Judy Garland of the same name. The story follows the Smith family between summer 1903 and spring 1904. When the family is excitedly discussing young love interests and the upcoming World's Fair, Mr. Smith abruptly shares that he's been offered new employment that will move the family from St. Louis to New York City. The family must come to terms with the relocation and the losses which come along with it. A heartwarming portrayal of a family in early 20th-century America: young love, the importance of family, and the ways in which we value the friendships and communities that surround us. Famous tunes include The Trolley Song.
