Welcome to the PSAT Test Registration site for Rocky River City Schools!  This site is for the use of Rocky River High School Juniors only.

• This website is open for PSAT Test Registrations  and will close at 11:59 pm on Friday, August 30th!

  The PSAT/NMSQT is now digital! The test is easier to take, shorter, has more time per question, and comes with a built-in calculator. It can also qualify you for the National Merit Scholarship Program and other scholarships. You can find more information at: https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt.
  

  Students on free and reduced lunch are not required to pay for the PSAT test. Students on free and reduced lunch who are interested in registering for the PSAT test at no cost should contact  Mrs. McMahon in the counseling office no later than August 30th  and she will assist you with registration.  Please email Mrs. McMahon at mcmahon.candace@rrcs.org

  Some Information for Testing that you Must Know!

  • Test Date is Thursday, October 10th
  • You will be notified ahead of time of your testing location.
  • Be on-time!
  • Students should bring an approved calculator: https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt/whats-on-the-test/math/calculator-use.
  • Electronic devices (Cell Phones, IPods, etc), Food, Drink are prohibited in the testing area.  
  • The PSAT/NMSQT is the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. The PSAT is a great primer for the SAT, and even the ACT, but it’s more than just a trial run. PSAT scores are used to identify National Merit Scholars and award merit scholarships.
