Caddo Middle Magnet/CE Byrd HS Choir - Mamma Mia Trip
Byrd High School and Caddo Middle Magnet Choir are going to see, "Mamma Mia" in Dallas, TX on their national Broadway tour on April 18,2025 . The total cost is $150.00. This includes the charter bus, dinner, $20 of game play at Dave and Busters, show tickets, etc. There are only 52 spots and it is first come, first serve!
Requirements to attend:
- Choir fee/school fees must be paid
- You must have a C or higher in choir
- Once you sign up, you cannot get a referral.
Refunds are not guaranteed for any reason! If behavior during class becomes a concern, a student may be removed from the trip at any time. Only students who were given the access code may register for this event.
*Disclaimer- Mamma Mia is rated for children 8 years and above, but please read the content warning before allowing your child to attend. Musicals are not rated PG, PG-13, etc. If I were to rate this musical, I would say it was somewhere between the two. There is some crude humor, innuendos, and mild language. Please use your own discretion about allowing them to attend.
Itinerary
Friday, April 18,2025
*We do not have school this day as it is Good Friday! Please have your child eat lunch before they come!
- 12:00pm - Meet at the carpool line at Caddo Middle Magnet
- 12:30pm - Leave for Dallas, TX
- 4:00pm-6:00 pm - Eat Dinner at Dave and Buster's and have one hour of playtime.($20 of play time is included in the cost) *they are allowed to bring more money BUT when it is time to go we have to leave even if they still have money left!
- 6:30pm-7:30pm- Arrive at the theater - Purchase souvenirs, use the restroom, etc.
- 7:30pm-10:30pm - Watch Mamma Mia
- 10:30pm - Depart Dallas, TX
- 11:30-12:00am - Stop at Buccees for snacks/drinks
- 2:00am (tentative) - Arrive back at Caddo Middle Magnet
High school and middle school students will ride the same bus but will be separated by a row of chaperones.
If parents want to attend, you must provide your own transportation. Here is the link for you to purchase tickets. We will be in the balcony.
