Join us in this unique professional development opportunity!! We will be visiting Anthony Wayne Elementary School and Maumee Schools to see what they are offering in STEAM opportunities for their students and how they are doing it!!!
You will need to register to attend the day so that the host schools will know how many to plan for.
We will meet at 9:00 at:

Teachers and administrators will visit grade specific K-4 classrooms and then will have time for exploration.
Guests can explore the various tech resources we have purchased
(including: Flashforge 3-D Printing, Lego WeDo 2.0, Sphero, Little Bits, Lego Mindstorm EV3, Makey-Makey, Ozobots, Dash Robot, Bloxels, 3-Doodler Pens, Keva Planks, Knex, Quibits, Makedo tools, Legos, Craft Stick Connectors, and a great deal of low tech materials and supplies!)
Lunch will be on your own 11:15-12:30
We will then meet at Maumee Schools 1147 Saco St, Maumee, OH 43537 at 12:30 for the afternoon to visit the MakerSpaces in the Maumee districts and learn steps in implementation of STEAM in their district.
12:30- 1:00- Maumee High School- We visit our STEAM lab at Maumee High School. You will see motion graphics, 3D design, 3D printers, CNC machines, Augmented Reality and music production. We will also visit our robotics, computer science lab.
1:10-1:35 Wayne Trail - You will visit our makerspace at this building and can tour and look at our of the items we have.
1:50-2:30 Gateway Middle School- Everyone can explore the makerspace at our 6-8 building and see how we use it in our daily learning environments.
