Welcome to Prom 2025: Moonlight Masquerade
* Saturday, May 17 at Encore Event Center (formerly Michaud's Catering and Event Center), 16808 Pearl Rd., Strongsville
* Doors open at 6:00, dinner at 6:45, dance ends at 10:00 PM .
* Ticket costs are $70 each.
* You can bring a guest to prom if they are:
* a student at MHS or another high school
* a graduate from MHS or another high school who is 20 years old or under
*You are responsible for printing your own ticket or pulling it up on your phone upon arrival and bringing your 2024-25 school ID to the dance. Guests may use driver's license or school ID with a picture.
*For safety reasons NO parents/adults are permitted to enter Encore (Michaud's) without previous permission.
*No outside masquerade masks are permitted. We will provide masks at the dance for each student and guest.
*All school fees must be paid in order to purchase a ticket. PLEASE ALLOW 24 HOURS AFTER PAYING ALL FEES FOR YOUR ACCESS CODE TO BECOME ACTIVE!
If you are denied access to purchase your ticket, please check the "$Fees" tab in your ProgressBook! If no fees are showing and 24 hours have passed since your last fee was paid, please see Mrs.Stump in the Green Guidance office for assistance.
Dress Code for Prom
Gentlemen: dress shoes or dress boots, dress pants, dress shirt with collar and TIE. A tie is mandatory. Shirts must remain on the entire dance.
* no hats, headbands or bandanas
* no sunglasses
Ladies:
dresses that show midriff will not be permitted
mostly sheer or see-through gowns are not allowed
if the dress has a front or side slit, it should not go higher than the person’s fingertips (when hands are at side)
backs of dress should cover small of back
gowns that show excessive cleavage will not be permitted
no hats, headbands or bandanas
no sunglasses
ALL STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR SHOES DURING THE ENTIRE DANCE!
If in the collective opinion of the school administrators and advisors a guest dresses in an inappropriate manner, he or she will not be permitted into the dance.
Students who participate in dancing that has been deemed inappropriate by staff will be removed from the dance immediately and will not be readmitted.
Dancing that is dangerous, inappropriate, or sexually suggestive violate the schools dancing rules and will result in immediate removal from the dance.
NO WARNINGS WILL BE GIVEN!
Substance Abuse
All dance participants are subject to breathalyzers and searches. Those who choose not to participate will not be admitted to the dance.
Students who are found abusing any substance are subject to school discipline and/or police involvement
Any student or guest who violates our policy will not be permitted to attend the next school sponsored dance. i.e. violators at Prom would not be able to attend Homecoming or the next eligible school dance
