MHS Speak Week is a half-day camp which takes place from July 21st through July 25th. The camp is entirely run by the Mason HS Speech & Debate Team, and all fees go towards funding the team’s competition season. 

Camp is held at Mason High School, 6100 Mason Montgomery Rd, Mason, OH 45040

The camp is open to all incoming 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students for the 2025-2026 school year. All experience levels are welcome. Camp participants will receive highly-effective training by experienced Mason HS Speech & Debate Team varsity members under the guidance of the team’s coaching staff. The camp curriculum will focus on a variety of events from three disciplines: Public Speaking, Debate, and Interpretation. (All event guidelines will follow the criteria set forth by the Ohio Speech & Debate Association and the National Speech & Debate Association.)

The camp will be holding a morning or an afternoon session for all available grade levels. Participants should select a preferred session:

Morning AM Session is 8:30am - 11am; please arrive at 8am

Afternoon PM Session is 12pm - 2:30pm; please arrive at 11:30am
