The Seal of Biliteracy Exam a national standardized exam that measures a student's proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking in another language.
Students who pass the Seal of Biliteracy Exam earn the Seal of Biliteracy on their High School diploma or transcript. The Seal of Biliteracy recognizes students who demonstrate a high level of proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English and another language. The Seal of Biliteracy can open doors to economic opportunities and it can also be used to meet language requirements for college applications, course placement, and employment.
The Seal of Biliteracy Exam will begin on Thursday, May 15th. Please bring a charged chromebook and headphones. You will have until Thursday, May 29th to complete the exam. You will need to take the exam during any free periods, study halls, or after school.
The deadline to sign up for the exam is Tuesday, May 13th.
