Social Committee is a voluntary group, only Social Committee members who pay their dues can enjoy the benefits. Benefits include, hosting events such as potlucks, where staff are asked to bring in a food item to share with other Social Committee members. Social Committee provides the paper goods and decoration. Social Committee also gives gifts for life events (see below) to staff members who are apart of Social Committee.

Dues:

Teacher- $50.00

Staff- $30.00

Life Events that receive gifts:

·      After 10 consecutive days of personal illness or the first hospitalization of the year, gift will be sent by the staff, in the amount of $30. Non-members will receive a card.

·      In the event of the death of a spouse or child, of a staff member, gift will be sent, in the amount of $30.  Non-members will receive a card.

·      Upon retirement after 10 years of service, of a staff member, a $30.00 gift. Non-members will receive a card.

·      If a staff member gets married, or gives birth to their child, the social committee will provide a gift to the member in the amount of $30.00. Non-members will receive a card.

·      Acknowledgement for Secretary’s Day, Boss’s Day, Counselor’s Day and Nurse’s Day each will be given a gift in the amount of $30.00

·      At the discretion of the Social Committee, the Employees fund can be used for social events (doughnuts for teacher appreciation day, paper products for luncheons, etc.)
