Ayer Kindergarten Field Trip – Burger Farms

We’re excited for our upcoming field trip to Burger Farms! Please review the important details below:

Arrival Times

  • All Day & AM Kindergarten students should arrive at school at their regular time.

  • PM Kindergarten students should arrive between 9:50–10:00 AM.
    Please remain in your car with your child until bus loading begins.

Departure & Return

  • Buses will depart from Ayer at 10:10 AM.

  • We expect to return to school around 1:00 PM.

  • Half-day students (AM & PM) will need to be picked up at 1:00 PM from Ayer.

Cost & Payment

  • The student ticket cost is $8.00.  Cash, check or Online Payment accepted

  •  Please send exact cash or check (made to Ayer Elementary) payment to your child’s teacher or the front office.

Chaperone Information

  • Each class is allotted four (4) chaperones.

  • Chaperones must have a current background check on file with FHSD prior to the trip.

  • If selected as a classroom chaperone:

    • Please send $8 (exact cash or check) to your child’s teacher or the front office.

  • If you would like to meet the group at the farm:

    • Please contact your child’s teacher for more information.

    • Admission is $8 per person, to be paid at the door.

What to Bring

  • Each student should bring a packed lunch in a disposable bag (e.g., brown paper bag or Ziploc).

  • Please do not send lunch boxes or reusable containers.
