Join DACC’s Welding & Sheet Metal Fabrication team for this engaging, hands-on camp! During this three-day experience, campers will step into the Welding lab and learn the basics of Stick and MIG welding, as well as oxy-fuel and plasma cutting. After completing guided safety training, students will get suited up and try their hand at real welding projects using industry-grade equipment. Campers will take on fun welding challenges, practice new techniques, and create their own custom metal project to take home. No prior experience is needed for this camp. Dress requirements: Campers MUST wear long pants (preferably jeans) and closed-toe shoes or boots. Rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders are invited to join us for this summer camp.
