CSI with Mason Police Department
Interact with a Mason Police Officer and learn how to process a crime scene! Participants will learn how to process fingerprints, discuss other crime scene processing techniques and get an inside look at how the City of Mason Police Department solves crimes in the community.

Safety Swim Clinic
Freestyle Swim Clinic: Aligning with the City of Mason’s goal to teach all residents how to be safe in the water, Mason Community Center will host a free community swim clinic to highlight the importance of water safety and to provide instruction for swimming with a focus on freestyle stroke. While this program is open to individuals ages 5 – 18, participants should be comfortable and confident with completing a continuous 25-meter freestyle swim.

Joe Barr American Legion Post 194
Students will have an opportunity to tour our Post, learn about the history, mission, and purpose of the American Legion, and hear from a panel of Veterans on their experience of service.

A Day at Camp Joy!
Students will spend the day at Camp Joy engaging in hands-on team-building, nature-based learning, and reflective activities designed to foster connection, communication, and personal growth. From a warm welcome and icebreakers to large group challenges and a peaceful closing circle, the experience is both enriching and aligned with academic and social-emotional goals.
A waiver will be sent via email to complete and bring with you to this class.

Golf Clinic at The Grizzly!
Putting and Chipping Clinic at the Grizzly: Students will have the opportunity to learn the basics of short game techniques at the Chip & Putt Clinic at the Grizzly Golf and Social Lodge, one of Mason’s wellness amenities. Whether you’re new to golf or looking to improve your skills, this hands-on clinic offers expert tips and fun practice focused on chipping and putting – key shots that lower scores and build confidence on the course. Participants are welcome to bring their own clubs however clubs can be provided complement of The Grizzly.

Fabulous French Toast! The Learning Kitchen will host MCS students in 3rd - 6th grade to learn how to make 3 delicious types of French Toast and toppings!

Detroit Style Pizza cooking workshop! The Learning Kitchen will host MCS students in 7th-12th grade to learn how to make Detroit style pizza from scratch!

Multisports
Students will have fun learning and playing different sports. Sports they will be learning include soccer, Wiffle ball, etc. This will be a positive and fun environment for the students to explore different sports, where everyone is encouraged to try something new in a non-competitive setting.

Mosaic Climbing Experience
Mosaic Climbing offers age-differentiated Journey Day programming designed to provide students from kindergarten through high school with an engaging, educational climbing experience that builds confidence, teamwork, and physical literacy. The programs are designed to help students learn how they can honor their interests by devoting time and energy toward building community. Students will be tasked with age appropriate projects that encourage compassionate reflection, empathetic problem-solving, and connection and collaboration with their peers, all while
engaging in physically and mentally stimulating climbing activity.
A waiver will be sent via email to complete and bring with you to this class.
Students will be grouped by their grades–
● Grades K-3rd (registration minimum: 8 & maximum: 16)
● Grades 4th-8th (registration minimum: 8 & maximum: 20)
● Grades 9th-12th (registration minimum: 8 & maximum: 20)
