First graders have a field trip scheduled to the Cincinnati Zoo on Thursday, April 30.  The cost is $10.25 per student.  The field trip will take place between 9:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.  Students will need a disposable, packed lunch.  Zoo memberships are not accepted for school field trips.

If you are interested in chaperoning the field trip, please contact your child’s teacher by email or SeeSaw. If classroom teachers receive more than the five requests for chaperoning, there will be a lottery for chaperone spots. 

Things to consider when agreeing to chaperone:

·       Complete the volunteer online process via the Raptor System (includes a background check)

·       Be available to ride the bus with students to and from the zoo.

·       Be comfortable with the care of a small group of students (4-6 children)

·       Share contact information with teacher

·       Pay an additional  $9.00 fee (No chaperone tickets sold online. Send check/cash in to your student's teacher or to the office.)
