Mixed Media Art Camp 2026

Register your creative kids for Summer Art Camp with artist Kathy Hyatt!  With over 15 years experience in teaching art camps, Kathy has packed in a whole week full of  projects to inspire your child’s curiosity about art!  This summer, Kathy will be joined by Chloe Dixon, an art therapy major at Ohio University, who will be leading a textile and stitching project with your kiddos as well as adding so much more to the camp!

What the fun week will include:

~Multiple projects including a papier mache animal, that the kids will design first with drawing and then bring to life, adding layers everyday until completion. 

~They will learn the importance of creativity in problem solving and the benefits that come with artmaking for relaxation, refocusing, and resetting.  

~All supplies are included, even a sketchbook that the kids will take home.  The children are asked only to bring a packed lunch everyday.

~On Friday, we will have an “art show” during the last 15 minutes of the day where the projects will be set up for friends and family to view all of the class creations!
