At Middle School North's Annual Beginning Band Camp, students:

• Learn the fundamentals of playing their instrument
• Work in sectionals with professional musicians
• Rehearse as a full band
• Pick up their Marshall Music instrument rental and supplies
• Meet their future classmates before school even starts
• Get to know ABHS musicians
• Start to learn their way around MSN 
• And so much more!

Beginning Band Camp takes place Monday, 8/10 through Friday, 8/14, from 9am-12pm.

Camp is optional, but highly encouraged! Even if students cannot attend every day, they should still register and come when they are able.

Students who are not renting from Marshall Music will need to bring their instrument (or have made arrangements to borrow one from the school), Essential Elements Book 1, and pencil. In addition, students may bring a light snack and a water bottle. The camp is indoors-only.

Beginning Band Camp is open to all incoming 5th grade band students and any 6th grade students joining band for the first time.
