  <font color="#000000">The PSAT/NMSQT is now digital! The test is easier to take, shorter, has more time per question, and comes with a built-in calculator.   <font color="#000000">Students on free and reduced lunch are not required to pay for the PSAT test. Students on free and reduced lunch who are interested in registering for the PSAT test at no cost should contact  Mrs. McMahon in the counseling office no later than August 21st  and she will assist you with registration.  Please email Mrs. McMahon mcmahon.candace@rrcs.org</font>

  <font color="#000000">Some Information for Testing that you Must Know!</font>

  • <font color="#000000">Test Date is Thursday, October 8th</font>
  • <font color="#000000">You will be notified ahead of time of your testing location.</font>
  • <font color="#000000">Be on-time!</font>
  • <font color="#000000">Students should bring an approved calculator: https://satsuite.<wbr>collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt/<wbr>whats-on-the-test/math/<wbr>calculator-use.</font>
  • <font color="#000000">Electronic devices (Cell Phones, IPods, etc), Food, Drink are prohibited in the testing area.  </font>
  • <font color="#000000">The PSAT/NMSQT is the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. The PSAT is a great primer for the SAT, and even the ACT, but it’s more than just a trial run. PSAT scores are used to identify National Merit Scholars and award merit scholarships.</font>
