The Squad – The Olentangy Lady Braves Pen Pal Program!

The Squad is a fun and inspiring mentorship program connecting young girls (Grades K–8) with players from the Olentangy High School Girls Basketball team.

Our goal is to build friendships, confidence, and a love for the game—while giving our high school athletes an opportunity to develop leadership and community pride.

What’s Included

• Pen Pal Connection:
Each youth player is paired with an Olentangy Lady Braves high school player for the season.
• Letters & Notes:
Exchange handwritten letters, encouraging notes, and fun updates throughout the season as you get to know your Lady Braves buddy.
• Free Home Game Admission:
Squad members receive free admission to all Olentangy Lady Braves home games when wearing their official Squad t-shirt.
• Game Day Recognition:
Be recognized during select varsity home games and join the player tunnel to help welcome the Lady Braves onto the court!
• Special Events:
Participate in exciting home game activities, poster signing events, and other exclusive Squad experiences throughout the season.

Stay involved all season for chances to receive exclusive Lady Braves gear and participate in special team experiences.

Program Details

• Open To: Girls in Grades K–8
• Duration: 10 weeks (basketball season)
• Location: Olentangy High School and select gym events
• Cost: $25 (includes Squad T-shirt and rewards)
