Lecture by Dr. Brant Watson - University of Miami School of Medicine, Professor Emeritus

Dr. Watson is a renowned researcher in the areas of strokes and spinal cord injuries. He is a named inventor of two U.S. Patents and has another application in development. Dr. Watson's research was funded by the National Institute of Neurological Diseases and Stroke for 22 years. He is the author of 91 peer-reviewed articles in professional journals, 25 book chapters, and 110 meeting abstracts on a range of topics.

This is a unique opportunity for all levels of learners to come together to hear about the intense world of biomedical research. Such learners could include practicing doctors, residents, medical or other research based area higher education students, general members of the workforce that have interest, and especially even high school students. Dr. Watson wants to be an example to young people in showing how his hard work and perseverance has allowed him to reach the highest heights in his field. This lecture will engage all levels of learners.


We are pleased to offer this lecture free to all attendees. Dr. Watson is coming to Northwest Ohio through a sponsored lecture series.

A boxed lunch will be provided to the first 150 registrants. Light snacks and drinks are also available for purchase on-site.
