Hello Parents of Little Panther Cheerleaders, My name is Amie Clark, I'm the Head Cheerleading Coach at Hilliard Darby HS. Tonight, your child is supposed to come and cheer with the Varsity cheerleaders at our home game against Westerville North. If you haven't heard already, the weather is not looking good for us. :( If the game gets postponed or cancelled tonight due to inclement weather, we will NOT reschedule the Little Panther Cheerleaders cheering with us. (The game will resume tomorrow at 2:00-but due to scheduling conflicts, the cheerleaders will NOT be cheering.) So if we are postponed or cancelled, the performance will still take place TONIGHT in the DARBY FIELDHOUSE. The Varsity cheerleaders will be in their uniforms and will conduct the performance of the Little Panther Cheerleaders as if we were out on the track. You will still be able to get pictures, and see your daughter cheer with the Varsity girls, unfortunately, it will just be inside, not on the track. I understand this is not ideal, but it is the best option for us as the next two Varsity games are away. Thank you for your understanding-I wish the weather would be on our side tonight! I am not sure when the call will be made whether the game is cancelled or postponed (in the event of lightening, we wait 30 min after each strike before gameplay can resume). But what you CAN plan on is that no matter what, the Little Panther Cheerleaders will perform tonight-either on the track or in the fieldhouse. I will have my cheerleaders at both entrances of the fieldhouse to allow entrance in. The game is scheduled to start at 7:30 and that is when we will begin. If it is raining, we could still be outside-it's only if it's thundering and lightening will they move us inside. Remember, a ticket is required to enter the stadium (the Little Panther is free). The Athletic Director believes we may be able to get through at least the 1st quarter tonight, hoping that is the case! Time: 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM Where: Your Elementary School --- It’s easy! Stay after school both days and your parents will pick you up when we’re all done! (if your school isn't listed, you are welcome to go to a school where a clinic is taking place. Just select which school you will be attending.) We are holding clinics at several schools, Alton Darby, Beacon, Crossing, Hoffman Trails, Horizon, Norwich, JW Reason, and Scioto Darby. When you register online you will be able to select your school! Clinics will take place OUTSIDE-Darby Cheerleaders will be waiting for you outside after school in their uniforms. Cost: $25.00 - cost includes a clinic t-shirt and goodie bag JUNIOR PANTHER CHEER CLINIC-held at Hilliard Darby High School ***Material at this clinic is the same material being taught at the Little Panther Cheer Clinics presented by the Darby Cheerleaders at the Hilliard Elementary Schools Sept 11th and Sept 18th.
