Over several months, the dance department invited other performing and visual arts classes at Longleaf to join in with them to create the multi-faceted arts experience that is this dance concert, BARE.

Through hours of incredible collaboration, hard work, and flexibility on behalf of the students, BARE was born. The other arts classes are integrated into each piece of this show in different forms, including a cappella singing, advanced theatre acting, and more.

Figure drawings of ballet students drawn by visual art students will be for sale in the lobby before the show, during intermission, and after the show; 100% of proceeds will go to the dance and visual arts departments at Longleaf!

Each dance piece has a unique meaning that fits into the overall theme of vulnerability, authenticity, and human connection. We hope you enjoy!
