The Hilliard Arts Council is pleased to announce our summer arts camp line-up for 2019, with opportunities for kids in grades 1-9!  Just click the "Register Here!"  button once for each student you wish to enroll.  

PLEASE NOTE: The Hilliard Arts Council Drama Camp is currently at capacity. We are unable to accept additional registrations at this time. Improv Camp

Camp will be under the direction of IMPROV4KIDS, the education team from The Nest Theatre, The dedicated home for improvisational comedy in Columbus, Ohio.

Students will learn various forms of improvisation, take part in theatre games and even write their own comedy sketches.  The week will culminate in a performance featuring the sketches written by students.  

Cost is $150.  Students should pack a lunch. A snack will be provided.

 Drama Camp

Campers will take part in workshops in both theatre and music.  The week will culminate in a performance of a play that campers rehearse throughout the week.

Robin Brenneman, retired theatre teacher from Hilliard Davidson High School will lead the drama activities. Amy Rittberger, music teacher at Avery Elementary, will lead the music activities. 

Campers will be divided into two groups: grades 1-3 and grades 4-6.

Campers should bring a lunch.  Snacks are provided.  Fee is $160/week.  Registration is limited to 50 children.  

 Extreme Arts  Camp

Think BIG or think small as campers explore extremes, bringing ideas to life with a variety of media meant to stretch imagination and skill.  Cardboard, acrylic, clay, fabric, foam, yarn and more!  Bring a lunch on Friday and enjoy the student created gallery.   Art teacher, Becky Rehbeck will help artists ideas come to life.   

Fee is $70.  Registration limited to 50 children.
