The Olentangy Stix Travel Baseball program is excited to announce its summer Skills & Drills Clinic for 1st and 2nd grade students in the Olentangy school district! The clinic will be held at the Stix baseball fields behind Shanahan Middle School.  This summer the Stix are partnering with professional instructors from Manino's Grand Slam to provide kids with instruction in both offensive and defensive skills; including hitting, base-running, sliding, fielding, and throwing.  

The clinic will take place during our Olentangy Stix Invitational. We welcome everyone to come out and experience the exciting atmosphere of a Stix-hosted baseball tournament, learn more about the Stix, and get two hours of professional baseball instruction! 

The Olentangy Stix is the largest and longest-running travel baseball organization in Olentangy. We’re excited to continue supporting the next generation of kids in our community.  Our free clinics are educational, fun, and hopefully the start of a rewarding, long-lasting experience with our program. 

Instruction and drills will be geared toward 1st and 2nd grade skill levels. Manino's instructors have a wide array of experiences. More information on Manino's instruction and coaches' bios can be found at www.grandslaminfo.com.

In order to ensure a proper player-instructor ratio, the clinic is limited to the first 50 registrants. Kids should bring their own gloves (and bats/helmets if they have them) and wear appropriate baseball attire.
