Help support the Oak Hills Robotics Team!
The Oak Hills Robotics team is a year-long course which uses complex engineering and innovative business practices to make a lasting impact on the community. Under strict rules, limited resources, and time constraints, teams of students are challenged to raise funds, design a team¨brand, hone teamwork skills, and design and build a robot that will perform the tasks of this year’s First Robotics Challenge (FRC) competition.
We rely on company grants and individual donations in order to provide outreach in the community and compete at national competitions. Any donations are greatly appreciated, as they will help us achieve our goal of generating a positive, lasting impact in the community and advancing our STEAMM skills. By making a donation, you would not only be presenting us with the means to succeed in further helping the community, but also help 34 students pursue their dreams of furthering their knowledge of engineering, programming, and business practices
During preseason we have traveled to competitions in Columbus, Ohio, West Lafayette, Indiana, and Corbin, Kentucky, and honed our skills in preparation for the upcoming FIRST Robotics Challenge. This year we will be attending Regional qualifying matches in Dayton, Ohio and Utica, New York. We are beyond excited to see how our hard work will pay off. Each competition’s registration fee alone can reach $5000 and we also need to finance our travel and lodging expenses. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to defend and build upon our legacy by returning to the First Robotics World Championship at the end of the season. We graciously request that you and your business help support the next generation of STEAMM innovators as we expand our horizons by competing against our peers from across the globe. We are a solid investment in the future. For more information about our team, visit bit.ly/scotbot4284.
