If you were notified by a Caddo Parish high school that your child did not meet the testing requirements for admission into the one of their magnet programs (730 on the 7th grade English and Math LEAP), you can register your child for a Saturday testing. 

Students will be given the IOWA Test of Basic Skills, but will only need to take the sub-test (Reading, Math or both) in which they did not meet the entrance criteria.  (The minimum required score on the IOWA Reading and Math is the 50th percentile.)

On test day, students will need to bring proof of payment (receipt from Local Level Events) and valid picture identification (ex. School I.D., state I.D.) Please verify with the school which sub-test (Reading, Math, or both) your child needs. NO REFUNDS. Test results will be mailed to the home address within two weeks after the test date.  Upon enrollment, students will be given the LDOE required State Placement Test to support course scheduling.

Test Date:  Sat.,Mar. 7, 2020 (Registration & Payment period Feb. 3–28)

There will be no additional testing dates offered by Caddo Parish.

Cost:              $25 for Reading only

                       $25 for Math only

                       $50 for Reading and Math

Time:               Sign-in for testing begins at 8:00 a.m. on test day.

                         Students must pre-register and pre-pay to test.

                         Testing begins at 8:30.  

Students will not be admitted once testing has begun.
