Come experience WCS Summer Enrichment's production of She Kills Monsters; virtual realms. Written by Ohio native and Ohio University alumnus Qui Nguyen, She Kills Monsters was written as an ode to the action roleplay game Dungeons & Dragons and to address issues of bullying, identity, and loss. 

When March hit and the world began shutting down, some artists went to work to find a way for theatre to survive through this crazy time. Nguyen was one of those artists and quickly adapted his 2017 hit into a pandemic proof story about the same topics.

 We will have a link for every night that will be emailed 24 hours before start. This link will allow you to join in on the livestream and view the production. The production itself is prerecorded and edited to film. What will make each night fun and different is that different members of the cast and crew will be on hand to take questions, comment live and have a brief talk back before and after the show.

Please be aware that the themes and dialogue in this show are recommended for age 13 and up. The story is told very respectfully and the themes are timely to a teenagers life and the way teens talk and interact when no one is watching.

Ticket prices are on a donation level per household. WCS Summer Enrichment is run through the summer school and the students earn credits toward graduation for their work and involvement in the production. Support for the program ensures that we have funds for the following year (which will hopefully be a BIG FAMILY MUSICAL). We appreciate your love and commitment to the arts.
