Dear PGE Parents,
We are so grateful that we have the opportunity to have field day this year! We are going to have all kinds of fun games. Field day will begin 8:30 am - 11:45 am Friday, May 9th.
Students may wear their class PGE field day t-shirt, PGE school t-shirt or Class color
t-shirt, athletic shorts or uniform shorts, and tennis shoes/running shoes with socks. Due to the anticipated warm temperature, we are asking that students not wear long pants or hoodies/jackets. Parents/Guardians are welcomed to attend; however, we ask that you not bring your school-aged children from other schools with you to view the Field Day activities. You may check out your child by signing them out on their teacher's clipboard after the races. If you check out your child, they must stay with you and will not be allowed to roam freely around the campus. You may take pictures with your children after the races, but please do not interrupt races or try to get your children out of the race lines for any reason. After the races are finished, you can accompany your child to the concession area. For security reasons, parents are not allowed to visit classrooms or any area on campus except for designated Field Day areas and bathrooms.
We are asking for donations of small water bottles these next two weeks so that we will have cold water on hand for the students participating in the games. Please send all water donations to your child's teacher before Thursday, May 8th. CPSB Healthy Snacks Concessions will be pre-packaged and delivered on Field Day to your child's homeroom teacher.
