My child wishes to participate in WHHHS Powderpuff/Boys Ball Game. I know that it is my responsibility to understand and communicate to my child that:
· This is a school sponsored event and participation is a privilege, not a right. Students should behave accordingly.
· The length of playing time is not guaranteed.
· If a student tackles, intentionally hurts another player, uses foul language or doesn’t listen to the referees (teachers), the student will be immediately ejected from the game.
· Students must purchase a t-shirt in order to play. Only the girls/boys with t-shirts on will be permitted on the track, field or court.
· Students who participate in athletic type activities are exposed to the risk of injury. I have medical insurance to cover my child in case of accidental injury. Harrison will not be held responsible for injuries pertaining to this event.
· Students are encouraged to have fun while behaving in a mature and responsible manner. Chaperones will be present during the event.
· All school rules apply during all activities associated with this event. If the student doesn’t follow school rules or game rules, a school discipline form will be filled out.
· Practices will be arranged by student coaches. (You must have a school district staff member and administrator permission to use school facilities).
